Future creative economy will be developed by combining technology and industry: Palak
The smart generation will be a combination of technology and industry. They will build the country's future creative economy. For this reason, the government's ICT Division has adopted a new project.
State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak opined so while talking to the media workers participating in the premiere show of Khoka, an animation series focusing on the childhood and youth of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, at the Star Cineplex of the Bangabandhu Military Museum in Bijoy Sarani.
He said, by 2030, the animation industry will be worth about 600 billion dollars. The Future Animated and Creative Economy (Face of Smart Bangladesh) project has been adopted so that the talented animators of our country can contribute to this industry. Under this initiative, an environment and climate awareness animation film 'Song of Soil' will be made in joint support with France. Besides, we will release another animation movie called 'Struggle' to highlight the struggle of Bangladesh and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He also talked about the initiatives being taken to expand AI Expert on how to use AI tools to lead the future animation industry. For this, 9 labs will be set up in 9 universities.
After the release of Mujib Amar Pita (Mujib my father), Mujib Vai (Brother Mujib), Rasel Amader Chhotto Sona (Russell our little gem), the 96-minute movie, Khoka was made by the ICT Division. The series was directed by Sohail Mohammad Rana of ProLancer Studio under the supervision of Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Project Director of the Department of Mobile Games and Applications. Sheikh Alidur Rahman Hira was in charge of the producer and was assisted by MARS Solutions' leading ICT expert, entrepreneur, culture and social worker ME Chowdhury Shamim and Dilara Afroz Khan Rupa, the Founder Chief Executive and Author of Ethics Club Bangladesh.
In this series, Bangla Academy Award-winning popular playwright and theater personality Masum Reza was in charge of the script along with Pulak Raha, Ratan Siddiqui, Sheikh Sadi, Mithun Hasan and others. Freedom fighter Ajay Dasgupta, who received the Ekushey Medal in Journalism, carried out the research. Rafiqul Salim was in charge of voice direction. The lead character designer is Jawad Mahmood.
